MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� Murray State University has been recognized by Niche on its 鈥�2025 Best Colleges in Kentucky list鈥� and ranks as the top public regional comprehensive university in Kentucky.
Murray State continues to be ranked highly by based on multiple factors with emphasis on academics, value, faculty engagement with students, campus quality and student life.

Preliminary enrollment data indicates that Murray State鈥檚 fall 2024 freshman class is the fourth largest in the University鈥檚 history and the second largest in the past decade following last fall鈥檚 record-breaking freshmen enrollment, as well as the largest overall enrollment since 2016.
